Vaccine Hesitancy and Saving Lives
This enduring activity has been designed for global primary care physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team such as dentists, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health care professionals who evaluate patients for vaccination needs. The goal is to help global HCPs define the benefits of vaccination in terms of lives saved and societal medical costs saved; analyze efficacy and safety data with specific vaccines in current approved childhood vaccination schedules, and lastly to describe the history of vaccination and the general manufacturing techniques and clinical trials used in the development of modern vaccines.
This enduring activity will be publicly available for the entire global healthcare community to use and intended for global primary care physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team such as dentists, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health care professionals who evaluate patients for vaccination needs.
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Define the benefits of vaccination in terms of lives saved and societal medical costs saved.
- Analyze efficacy and safety data with specific vaccines in current approved childhood vaccination schedules.
- Describe the history of vaccination, general manufacturing techniques, and clinical trials used in the development of modern vaccines.
